Back Again!
I'm back from Pennsylvania. Had a good time. I'm just too lazy to write down all the things we did... okay I'll list a few:
Went to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.
Rode on a canal boat.
Rode a bike across a wire high in the air (it was safe- it's the sky bike at the Franklin Institute)
Rode in a flight simulator (fun!).
Went to Ahmish country and saw lots of Ahmish, Minnonites (Middonites?), and all bajillion of the other branches that have split off of the Ahmish. Those guys may have a lot of tradition mixed in with their beliefs, but on terms of people with dedication to what they believe in, they're quite dedicated! We should all take a lesson from them. =)
Saw a big imax theater thingy (I've been to imax shows before, but this screen was wraparound and dome shaped. Rather cool.)
I bought some Mimosa Pudica seeds. I'll have to look that up later and see if there's anything other than what it says on the pack that I should do to grow them. It's a right cool plant, from what a gather.
I finished taking the pictures on my disposable cameras, so once I get them developed I may be more readily inclined to make a post about the mission trip.
We're going to the mall in like an hour to eat supper. (Broccoli soup- YUMMM!!)
Think I'll go ahead and scuttle. See ya! :)

Like a chicken with my head cut off...
I was going to write a blog entry about my trip today, but I couldn't find my trip itenerary to remember everything I did. lol
So I'll just wait until my pictures are developed and I can find another one or something. Be assured: it is coming. :P

My pictures are yet to be developed, but I took these with the camcorder last night to show you. I haven't had time to type up an entry about my trip yet, but it's coming. Maybe today.
Fragments of bone I found on the ground around a large dinosaur skeleton in the middle of the desert.
Fossil shark teeth from an area where they get stirred up rather often by the wind.

World Traveler!
I'll be leaving on Wednesday for a mission trip to New Mexico. Twenty-three kids and (think) 9 adults are going. We'll be gone for two weeks- getting back on the 26th. It's gonna be an interesting experience! Drive 5 hours to Pittsburgh to catch the airplane and have a layover in Minneapolis for two hours, then resume the trip to New Mexico. We'll be working on a Navajo Reservation. I'll blog all about it when I get back. ;)
Wish me a good trip!

I'm Back!
Back from my trip! I had a great time! Before we went to take the ACT's, we went to Southern Adventist University. I fell in love with it while there. It's wonderful. I'm not sure, but I think I've decided that my major will be Animation (of the 3d variety) and, if I can manage taking both simultaneously, I'll minor in Practical Theology.
Oh and just in case you were wondering what classes Character Animation encompasses- here ya go!

Greeeeeaaat. I think I'll be buckling down on my drawing skills over the next two years before I go there.
In other news- I won a $1,000 scholarship while I was there. It was a random drawing in which 5 people in the room each got $1,000 scholarships. That's providence enough for me to decide that SAU's definitly where I should go for college. $1,000 may just be a drop in the bucket compared to the amount I need, but I'm quite pleased with it!! :D
In ACT news..
I'd estimate that about 20 or 25% of the math questions- I haven't been taught how to work yet. (After all, I'm just in 10th grade right now). And another 5-8% I had forgotten HOW to do. So I'm not sure how well I'll be doing on the math scores. But other than that, everything went rather well on them.
I found an online conversion sheet for SAT to ACT and judging from my SAT score, I should get near a 26 on the ACTs. Guess we'll see how accurate that is when they come in!
Anyway, my ride's here so I've gotta skiddaddle! Catch ya later!

Be back Monday!
I'll be back on Monday- I'm leaving this evening to go to North Carolina yet again. First we're going to Southern Adventist College for college days. Then, on the weekend, we're going to "Aunt Susie's" house again and to the testing center on Sunday. Last time (if you read my previous entries) was for the SAT's... this time it's to take the ACT's. Don't think it's the same testing center as before..who knows. Wish me luck and traveling mercies, guys! See ya when I get back! (And apologies for never updating anyway. :P)

Resolved...sorta
Well... things are kinda resolved. The teacher gets to stay, but not as principal anymore. Just as a teacher. Which is okay I guess. And two other teachers resigned. Not gonna say too much about the matter, lest my post be read by eyes who are already in on the situation at hand and they get the wrong idea.
Overall- a lot of the stress is relieved for everyone. So thanks for your prayers, guys! =)
I'll try to get back into the swing of updating... if I had more people leave comments on the posts to let me know people are still reading, I may be more inclined to update. (The same could be said for Unpredictable Perceptions, though I have been updating it more often than this).
So if you're reading- post a comment even if it's just to say "I'm reading, so :P"!
